Meatless Burger Review: Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger

These Meatless Burgers Were Very Flavorful

It has been a long time since I have gotten a frozen veggie burger. I have been making my own for less but I was going to be staying at my mom's for a week and so I got a few different frozen vegetarian protein items that I could easily heat up and eat. One of these items was the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger. It had been a rather long time since I had gotten any pre-made frozen meatless burgers and I can honestly say that I was getting burnt out on the ones I was making myself but I also had got kind of tired of the ones I was buying prior to making my own. Seeing how I had never tried this particular meatless burger I had hopes that it would be a nice change.

Prior to making my own veggie burgers I was getting Gardenburger meatless burgers like their Flame Grilled Meatless Burger, Vegan Burgers and Vegetarian Burgers, Morningstar Farms Specialty Meatless Burgers, Meatless Grillers, Cheddar and Garden Veggie Burgers and other Boca Meatless Burgers. There were things that I liked and disliked about all of the these burgers and I assumed that this would be the case again with the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger. I was exactly right, there were things that I really enjoyed about this particular burger and things that I did not care for too much.

I wasn't thrilled about the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger's non-organic ingredients which were water, soy protein concentrate, parmesan cheese, oven roasted tomatoes, rolled oats, textured soy protein concentrate, basil and there is less than two percent of methylcellulose, brown rice, paprika, salt, hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, yeast extract, buttermilk, tomato powder, caramel color, natural flavor, onion powder, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate and wheat. However these were standard ingredients for your average meatless burger. The nutrition facts were equally standard.

In one Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger there is seventy calories with fifteen calories from fat, five milligrams of cholesterol, two hundred and ninety milligrams of sodium, nine grams of carbohydrates, three and a half grams of fiber, ten grams of protein and calcium and iron were listed with fifteen percent. I thought that it was nice that the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger had as much calcium and protein in them as they did, I was a little bit disappointed to see that they contained cholesterol though. However all that aside I did think that the these meatless burgers did taste really good. There were very flavorful which was a nice thing.

Now that I know that I like the taste of the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger I will keep them in mind if I need to get some frozen meatless burgers. When I found them they were not on sale but a box was only two dollars and seventy-eight cents. The box contained four meatless burgers. I would recommend for anyone to give the Boca Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Meatless Burger a try.
