Here is a chicken soup recipe that is very high in calcium.
Adding an organic naturally fermented, brewed apple cider vinegar to any recipe that contains bones considerably increases the amount of calcium whilst also adding very pleasantly to the taste.
The apple cider vinegar breaks the calcium down into a form that is very bio-available for our bodies.
This wonderful tasting soup is also excellent when we have flu'.
HIGH CALCIUM CHICKEN SOUP
Into a 4 litre stainless steel pot put 2 litres pure water.
ADD the bones and some attached meat of a whole chicken
ADD 2 large diced potatoes
ADD 2 large diced carrots
ADD the greenery of about 7 finely chopped, cleaned spinach leaves
ADD 5 large garlic cloves, loosely mashed up
ADD 2 large sliced onions
ADD 2 large tablespoons of chopped basil
ADD 50 mls apple cider vinegar
SIMMER for a couple of hours, then
Give the soup a gentle mash just to break up the vegies a little whilst adding some texture
ADD 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese
ADD 4 tablespoons of naturally fermented tamari after the soup is cooked.
Miso can be added instead. Never boil Miso.
