Medicinal Trees - Juniper

The juniper tree is another of the best medicinal trees. It is valued for its healing berries, which are the most commonly used part of the tree. They are used as a diuretic, tonic and antiseptic.

The tea made from the berries of these medicinal trees is made by using two teaspoonfuls to one cup of boiling water. This tea is used for the treatment of poisonous insect bites, snake bites, dog bites and bee stings.

If you make a tea from the berries of these medicinal trees using only one teaspoon to one cup of boiling water, it can be beneficial to treat stomach problems, gas and bowel problems and for the treatment of colic. It is also an effective remedy for coughs, cramps, convulsions, gout, rheumatism and pain of all kinds.

Juniper tea is also wonderful for treating bleeding gums when used as a mouth wash and sore throat when gargled. It will also expel worms from children and adults.

Externally, the powdered ash of these medicinal trees is a wonderful remedy for sores and scabs. One teaspoon of the ash is used to one pint of boiling water.

Medicinal Trees - Laurel

The Laurel tree, also known as bay tree or bay laurel, is another of the greatest medicinal trees. The bark, berries and leaves of these medicinal trees are all used for healing purposes. The bark is slightly astringent and is effectively used to treat kidney and bladder stones, pancreas, spleen and liver problems.

A strong tea made from the berries of these medicinal trees can be applied externally or taken internally. For external use it is effective for poisonous insect bites, snake bites and wasp stings. It's very useful in cases of tonsillitis, sore throat and lung problems.

Tea made from the berries of these medicinal trees is a great remedy for colds, fever and the flu. It will clear the eyes, lungs and any other part of the body that needs it. It is a great cleanser and suitable for treating chronic coughing and asthma. Other uses for this tea include the expelling of worms from the body, gas in the stomach and bowels and increasing the flow of urine when it is suppressed.
