Meditations of Habits

Allison Karavite
To the glimmer I bow my head in emulation of a prayer,

fingered intwined in another gesture of faith, gentle as can be,

thus the silence begins.

Meditations of habits,

habits of meditation,

form the unsaid words, unneeded now,

and commune'd with these beautiful monsters of belief and faith.

Work in their unison,

not as their tool,

every laborer in the fields

is vital to the machinations.
