Rejected by Bachelorette Jillian Harris, Jake Pavelka Gets His Shot at Love
Jake Pavelka is the handsome, intelligent, gentleman who tried to win the hand of Bachelorette Jillian Harris. Women swooned when he took Jillian on a date and even later returned to the show as her knight in shining armor. Jake was rejected by Jillian, but this time Jake Pavelka has the upper hand and he is looking for love.
Monday, Jan 4th, Jake Pavelka will meet 25 bachelorettes vying for his attention and be greeted by millions of viewers who wish they were in the bachelorettes' heels. Following his appearance on the Bachelorette ABC reports being flooded with requests to feature Jake on The Bachelor.
ABC complied with viewers' wishes and invited Jake Pavelka to be The Bachelor. Despite having his heart crushed by Jillian, Jake agreed to continue his search for love. ABC says that Jake is looking for a "best friend and soul mate."
The season premier of The Bachelor promises excitement, hope, and heartbreak. 25 bachelorettes will meet Jake Pavelka, but on the first night ten will be sent home. There are going to be some devastating moments because it isn't going to take these women long to fall for Jake Pavelka.
Fifteen bachelorettes will remain with the hope of winning the love of Jake Pavelka.
Who is The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka?
Jake Pavelka is a nice guy. Based on appearances and what we learned from him on The Bachelorette Jake seems to have it all: good looks, a great career as an airline captain flight instructor, intellect, spontaneity, a gentleman's hand, and a tender heart. Suave and debonair, Jake is also a manly man making him an attractive bachelor to any single woman.
Raised in Denton, Texas, Jake Pavelka now lives and works in Dallas, Texas. He was educated at the University of North Texas and Embry Engineering University for Aerospace Science. Learning to fly, Jake fulfilled a childhood dream. He continues to live his dream flying acrobatics planes in his spare time.
Jake has two brothers, Jason and Matt, both of who have found the love of their lives. They are married and Jake's parents have enjoyed a long and blessed marriage. Jake is anxious to find the love of his life, settle down and get married, and has admitted he looks forward to fatherhood.
Tune in to ABC on Monday, January 4, 2010 when Jake Pavelka, the 14th bachelor, begins his search for love.

I actually found Jake to be pretty boring last season, so I'm not sure that I will be watching this season.
