How Did You First Find Out About Associated Content?
My sister introduced me to Associated Content. Her name is Amy Lynn. She knew I am a mother to 5, and that I like to write, and that I could use every little bit of extra money as possible. I joined, thinking honestly, that it couldn't be real, or true. I learned that it was in fact true, and worth my while!!
Do You Freelance For a Living or Do Something Else As Well?
I try, but although I apply, I seem to never be lucky enough, or something. I manage a trailer park, I make jewelry and crafts from home, and sell them at flea markets and online. I like to keep busy. And when something is bothering me, or I need to vent, I usually type it up, and try to sell it. Sometimes I get lucky, and sometimes I know I shouldn't waste my time in publishing. But writing it down, whether on paper or typed, it makes me feel better in the long run.
Tell Us a Little More About Yourself
I am a mother to 5 children. I am a crafty individual, I love to read, write and do crafts. Keeping busy, keeps me sane (I think LOL!). I am 44 years young, married for 25 years, born and raised in Akron, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1998. I love to help people, I strive to make a difference, and I want to help others to succeed in their quests, not just to succeed in my own along the way!!
How Do You Define Success?
Hmmm... I define success as knowing you made a difference. Whether it be small, or simple-- to someone else, anyone else-- your contribution may have meant the world to them. Strive on succeeding, keep your head up, and make your goal to never fail. Failure is not an option. We are our biggest downfall. We need to ban together, pull together, and help one another. IF you actually see someone failing, help them. Don't let them fail! Success, is what YOU make of it. Make success YOU!
What Are Some of Your Goals for the Future?
I want to travel the United States and see the famous land marks, ESPECIALLY the statue of liberty. I want to see my children ALL grown up and graduate and become something- whatever their heart desires. I want to see my grandchildren succeed, I want to know that the dream, my dreams continue through them. I also would like to continue losing weight!!
What are Some of Your Goals for Associated Content?
To keep writing, and be able to earn a badge, to be chosen as the display content, and get recognized for my skill. I might not be perfect, but who is? I want people to finally recognize that I have talent and that I can and will make a difference. I want to make the big bucks with AC. And in all honesty, I would like to even be a member of the Associated Content team, reading others works, offering opinions, and guidance. I feel I can inspire, just as others at AC inspired me, and help mold me better. There is a lot to be learned with AC, as well as LOT to be offered!! It doesn't just stop at the page views and payment. Your words are being read by others, and helping others. Your words DO matter!
What is the Most Meaningful Piece of Content You've Published With AC and Why?
I would have to say the article I wrote on ADD & ADHD and children:
Recognizing and Seeking Help for Children With Disabilities
(details as to why below)
Other then that one, THIS article right here, is very educational, and I feel EVERYONE should know and learn this: The Magic of the Number 9
But the reason I also feel my disabilities article was good, and worthy, is because of the response it received from other parents with similar problems needing guidance. They emailed me and came to me with questions and concerns, to which I helped quite a few.
Which 3 Pieces of Content Do You Consider Your Absolute Best?
BOTH of the ones I listed above and:
It's my guide to MRSA, which I unfortunately learned first hand. I like the number nine article because it teaches math tricks. And when I teach it to educators one on one, they get drop jaw. It is an excellent and skillful math trick, that I am proud to share, and remember for all these years for that matter- since I learned it in 7th grade! LOL And the ADD & ADHD disability article, because it helps parents and even siblings realize they are not alone, gives you my experiences, and advice, which everyone needs once in a while! LOL
What Advice Would You Give Fellow AC Contributors?
If you are just starting out, it will seem like "ah well..." because the content might not be top of the line, and you might have wanted and expected more. As you grow and contribute and share your talents, the money grows with you. Also, if you feel the desire to write and publish, by all means do so. Even if you have to release your article for FREE, you still get page views, and build yourself a name. It shouldn't be just about the money. It should be about making something of yourself, and helping others. Be patient, it's not going to happen over night. We all started off small, and eventually-- we will all get to where we want to be. Writing is a release, a piece of you. Make it matter, make a difference! Your writing REFLECTS YOU! Always remember that! And "words" themselves, can make or break you!!

Post a CommentDeneale Williams of Akron, OH....hmm, interesting read on her. Birthdate August 1965? The same Deneale K. Williams AKA Deneale Williams, D D Williams, DK Williams, Deneal Williams. I love the candor in this interview. It is very well written. Very poorly reaserched. The same Deneale Williams (phone number when in Akron was 407-264-9XXX) failed to mention the rest of her background.
She has expertise alright. Expertise in the field of being a criminal and a liar. Deneale is has been arrested for Grand Theft and Trafficing Food Stamps in 1991 in Akron, OH. I have heard since she has been in Florida she claims to be a property owner; a notary to the public; and a business owner. The funny thing is all of you are duped. She is lying. She is none of the above. Oh the laughs we will have back here in her hometown where she is so not welcomed with open arms. Her lies, theivery, and deception needs to keep her in her place which is away from everyone else.
Hi! I am Deneale LOL I wanted to thank you Lyn for this great article, and the chance to be interviewed. I enjoyed it, and the time spent with you too! I love reading everything you write, since I have been here on AC, you made me feel at home, and read my articles, and gave me pointers. Its people like YOU who make AC more enjoyable. To you the reader, thank you for all the confidence boosters, I needed them! LOL And thank you for reading my owork as well, and your great comments. Thank you to everyone, I appreciate it, truly I do!
Wonderful interview! Nice to meet you Deneale!
The money grows with you... Kind of like that thought.
Great article -- thanks!
Deneale? Are you sneaking over here and reading the comments about yourself? I love what you said in the interview, such as, "I want to help others to succeed in their quests, not just to succeed in my own along the way!!" Perfect! Plus you have a real cool name. Just remember that as you continue to work with Lyn Lomasi, she may seem really strict but she is a nice person (lol, lol ....). Best wishes to you Deneale! ~~~ mike ~~~
It's nice to learn more about AC contributors. I'll check out Deneale's work.
Thanks for introducing me the Deneale!
Deneale-you have a wonderful attitude and giving spirit.
Thank you Lyn for doing this interview-it is inspiring and helpful to read about how others have made their way in the writing world.
Akron is just 25 minutes south of me in Cleveland. Cool!
