Meet the All American Pinups

To some, patriotism is something you celebrate on the Fourth of July and Memorial Day, but for others patriotism is a way of life. Supporting members of our Armed forces, both past and present, is an important part of patriotism and in honor of supporting our troops I would like to introduce the All American Pinups.

The All American Pinups are three women who take supporting our soldiers seriously. Women who love vintage, love modeling, and have taken sending care packages to our troops to another level.

In December of 2007 the All American Pinups were established. The two original pinups are Cherry Lane, who founded the organization, and Vivian Belle. These two amazing women are the proud wives of active duty, career soldiers.

The All American Pinups have recently added a third pinup to their group, Miss Lynne D' Bomber. Miss Lynne D' Bomber comes from a strong military background and to quote her MySpace page her "goal is to raise money and show support for the men and women, past and present, who serve and protect America."

The ultimate goal for the All American Pinups is to send at least fifty care packages a month to deployed troops.

To accomplish their goal the All American Pinups have 5x7 portraits available for purchase, gear which sports the All American Pinup logo, and donations of course. All of the proceeds are used to fill the care packages and for shipping costs.

To see the results of what sending these packages overseas can do, you can find letters from the troops on Cherry Lanes MySpace page. These letters are so heartfelt; I promise they will bring tears to your eyes. Also on Cherry Lanes MySpace page you can also find additional items for sale, again, of which the proceeds also go to care packages for our troops.

I have had the privilege of being an Army wife alongside Cherry Lane when our husbands served together in the same troop. So, I can proudly say that I find her to be an outstanding woman whom supports our military wholeheartedly.

Vivian Belle states on her own MySpace page that her "marriage has given her insight into the hard work that members of our Armed forces experience on a daily basis. So many people seem to overlook these things...I wanted to give back to those who give up so much for us."

The All American Pinups are a not only models in photographs, they are also role models in how they have given back to "those who give up so much for us."
