Meet Mandy Jiroux - Miley Cyrus' BFF!

There is a new pair of BFF's in LA and their names aren't Paris & Nicole. So who are they?

Well, you already know one - Miley Cyrus, best known for her Disney Channel Original Series, Hannah Montana. But you may not have heard about her new best friend, Mandy Jiroux.

Miley and Mandy met when Mandy Jiroux was hired as a backup dancer for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. The two obviously had to spend a lot of time together, especially when it came time to go on The Best of Both Worlds tour, so it's no wonder that Miley and Mandy became chummy.

In February, Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux began uploading candid videos of themselves onto Youtube. They called it "The Miley and Mandy Show" and it became an overnight sensation. There isn't a lot that goes in "The Miley and Mandy Show", it's mostly just Miley and Mandy hanging out at home, or sometimes traveling together, but fans of Miley Cyrus love it because it allows them a little sneak peak into her private life.

Not a lot is known about Mandy Jiroux at this point, other than what she and Miley reveal on The Miley and Mandy Show. She's 20 years old and a Christian just like Miley Cyrus. She lives close by to where Miley Cyrus lives with her family, so you often see Mandy over at Miley's house in episodes of "The Miley and Mandy Show".

Some Miley Cyrus fans have questioned why the two are such good friends if Mandy is five years older than Miley. But when you consider the fact that people usually become friends with the people that they spend the most time with, it makes sense.

Mandy Jiroux recently revealed that she is now in a girl group called, The Beach Girls. Miley Cyrus recommended her for the group and it's been described as and age-appropriate "Pussycat Dolls meets the Spice Girls". Miley and Mandy also told us that Miley has written a song for The Beach Girls and they're both very excited about working together on this new project.

In March 2008, there were some racy photos of Mandy Jiroux reportedly taken from Mandy's personal MySpace page. You can find the pictures on various blogs and websites around the internet, but Mandy has since switched her MySpace page to private.

Could it be that Mandy Jiroux will become a celebrity in her own right? Possibly. For now she's doing a great job of introducing herself to the world as Miley Cyrus' best friend via the "The Miley and Mandy show" on Youtube.
