Meet South Africa's MartyParty, an Urban Techno Sensation
Marty Party, So-Called "Iggy Pop of Electronic Music" Today
MartyParty, Breaking Techno Loops and Barriers
MartyParty was born and raised in South Africa, a long way from the world capitals he would soon frequent. In 2005, he discovered a new path for electronica, and the rest, as they say, is MartyParty history.
MartyParty's not the first musician to find electronica rather redundant. But, instead of turning the channel, MartyParty and others have begun to push the limits of techno and dance music, finding new frontiers and audiences looking for greater sophistication in this modern musical genre. As a result, MartyParty bust "the loop" that's defined techno for so long and blended electronica with other urban beats for a sound that's completely his own. No longer would audiences be subjected to endless repetition as techno retrofits for a new generation of music lovers.
MartyParty in Concert and in Collaboration
If you're looking for something new and different, look no further than a MartyParty happening. His heavy bass and passion for improv makes a MartyParty concert one of a kind. MartyParty ability to bring urban beats into the moment is legendary. In Manhattan, New York and beyond, MartyParty is facilitating the integration of technology, percussion and instrumentation, making techno far more interesting and vibrant than ever before.
In 2008 Marty collaborated with Josh Mayer (Ooah) of Glitch Mob, to establish PANTyRAiD. Signed to Marine Parade Records, "The Sauce" is the worthy musical result from two musical producers who are rumored to be worth their weight in techno gold.
Check out MartyParty in New York City and beyond. If you're looking for a heavy beat and multidimensional electronic sound, you won't be disappointed by this red hot, audience favorite.
