Meet the Spartans

John Sarkis
This film is in the tradition of David/Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and the Wayan-Brothers-with one exception: none of these usual suspects were involved in creating or producing this film. The film was the brain-child of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.

The film is a parody of the movie: "300." The film re-tells the same story in the silliest most ridiculous way. The movie is actually quite funny and entertaining in the beginning. The problem arises towards the end of the film; things get so silly at that point that you just wanted to end.

The film has been given 1-star (complete flaw), but in all honesty it's not that bad. I got a good couple of laughs watching it, and would recommended to anyone looking for a good few laughs to watch it and judge for themselves if they like it or not.

I've written articles, a few short stories, and I'm currently working on a novella. I've also written 2 symphonies, and a handful of piano compositions.  View profile
