Mega Man Hall of Fame: Best Robot Masters

Mega Man also known as Rock Man in Japan is one of the most famous of the Nintendo game characters. Mega Man is easily Capcoms most prolific franchise and one of its most popular. One things that made Mega Man such a popular franchise was the ability to choose which level to start on. There was a best way to go about playing but without the Internet we had to rely on friends who knew the best way or friends with Nintendo Power. Without those you had to just play the level that you thought sounded cool. So to honor those early bad guys we are going to look at the top Mega Man Robot Masters.

Blademan

Blademan was the best thing about Mega Man 10. The best thing about Blademan was he was all swords and swords are cool. The other great thing about Blademan is he gave you a great power up.

Shadowman

Shadowman is a ninja is there anything else that really needs to be said.

Gutsman

Gutsman does not really have his own special power. He is just so strong he does not need an actual power. His power up is useful. He was also the least annoying Robot Master from the Mega Man cartoon which makes him better then the other early Robot Masters.

Magnetman

Magnetman is good for one reason and that is the power up he offers. While magnetman has a magnet weapon he gives you since all the bad guys are robots the magnet acts like a homing missile. He should have had a missile on his head instead of a magnet and they should have called him missileman. Not having to actually aim is useful to get through the levels faster. For coolness as well as usefulness Magnetman is one of the best Robot Masters.

Galaxyman

Galaxyman is cool for one reason and that is his power up. His power up is called the black hole bomb. It is easily the best name of a Mega Man power up. Besides sounding cool it actually works well and is very helpful.

Metalman

Metalman is on this list for one clear reason and that is he offers you the best power up. Not only is metalmans power up so unfairly overpowering shooting out like crazy hitting and destroying everything on screen it also takes very little power to use. Metalmans power up also can make quick work of almost all the other Robot Masters proving that Metalman is the best Robot Master of at least his game and arguably all the Robot Masters.

While this list may have missed some of your favorite Robot Masters a good number of these Robot Masters are probably on your own list.
