Meghan Lowther + Colin Farrell = Rejection

Sexy and Irish, Colin Farrell just learned the hard way that impromptu lines are not guaranteed to be successful on stage. Recently, handsome Colin approached pretty model or actress Meghan Lowther at the Rose Bar in New York, while attempting to pick her up.

Mystery Meghan was appalled at Colin's outrageous attempts at charm, Meghan turned her pretty nose skyward as her male friend took charge, and asked Colin to leave. Specifically, Colin bumped into the friend so that he caught Meghan's attention, and then proceeded to make joking remarks about how nice Meghan looked in comparison to others in the room. First, you need to understand that girls are all cute little puppy dogs inside, despite our outward appearance. As a puppy dog, we are "noble" by nature. Noble = Dignified, Decent, Courteous... There is a 10-foot tall, and bullet-proof noble personality inside of each cute little puppy lined up at the bar. Ignore this fact, and you lose instantly.

Cute little puppy dogs are also "loyal" by nature. Loyal = Faithful, Trustworthy, Dependable... If we are chatting with another person, understand that you are the new dog on the scene. As new dog, you must give respect to our pack before we dream about walking away from safety with you as a leader. Faithfully, puppies are Loyal to the pack.

Cute little puppies are "smart". Smart = Stylish, Chic, Clever, Intelligent... Stupid sounding pick-up lines that are designed for an IQ of 70 won't cut it. Nor will behavior that belongs in the locker room with the boys. No pushing, bumping, shoving, yelling, cussing, slurred-words, or stupid lines allowed. We are Noble, Loyal, and Smart puppies.

Cute little puppies might spruce-up for the dog show, but inside we're all about running carefree in a sunny landscape that includes a few mud-puddles to splash in. Making wild comments about how good we look in comparison to other dogs at the show only proves instantly that your head is in the wrong place. We like play, we don't like stuffy shows.

Cute little puppies are never full. Despite size, food is the way to catch our attention. Our favorite food is chocolate. Carry a Snickers or Milky Way and hand it over... You'll have my undivided attention until it's gone. It would be un-Noble to ignore the hand that is feeding you treats. But, don't ignore my pack. If I get a treat, they do too, or you get bit.

Oh... And, never call us cute little puppy dogs. That's a no-no. Not all puppy dogs realize that they're dogs; some think that they're human.

Got it, Colin? Think, "Cute puppy dogs". Next time, walk up to that good looking candidate with a plate of treats for her pack; enjoy conversation with the pack while the treats are letting you sit there. If you don't push anybody, and forget about those lines that have an IQ of 70 attached to them, you just might find your own noble companion.
