Meghan McCain's Bullying like the Perez Hilton of the Washington Set

Meghan McCain Needs to Practice Her Manners!

Roz Zurko
Who does Meghan McCain thinks she is? Can she be so presumptuous as to think that her words regarding the people in politics are taken seriously? Using a word like "nut-job" is just spotlighting the arrogance she appears to have taken on within the last year.

McCain appeared on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno on Wednesday, and she had something obnoxious to say about Bristol Palin, President Obama, and Christine O'Donnell. The daughter of Senator McCain is starting to sound like a bully, as discussed on the website Huffington Post.

McCain said her friends called O'Donnell a "nut job" during her appearance on ABC's "This Week" morning show, according to the Michele Malkin website. Now if that doesn't sound like the little rich girl hanging around with the "elite" popular girls in high school, nothing does.

Why do the networks continue to have this brazen woman on their shows? She seems to think she is speaking for her generation, but I bet they would have something to say about that!

McCain called President Obama's interview with Ryan Seacrest "kind of trashy," and she sarcastically threw out a remark regarding Bristol Palin forgetting to vote.

"Apparently Bristol Palin is more concerned with the voting on 'Dancing with the Stars,'" was McCain's flippant remark regarding the eldest Palin daughter forgetting to vote. All of this came out within her short segment on the stage with Jay Leno.

When Meghan McCain first came on the scene campaigning for her father during the last presidential election, she had a quality that people could relate to. She was respectful of the opposing views and to the people who had them. Today, she is just a know-it-all bully.

McCain shows no pose or grace in her conversations, and for a woman who slid into place on her father's coattails, she is acting a bit too entitled with her opinions about people.

If McCain believes she is modeling herself as the centerfold for today's young Republicans, she has another thing coming. Her behaviors and opinions will actually backfire. If this is what today's young Republican acts like, the youth of today will be choosing to join the Democrats. The snobbish attitude alone will turn people off!

I do not live in Delaware, but if I did, I would not have voted for O'Donnell. But I give her credit for coming into a political race saying "this is who I am."

I did not vote for President Obama, nor will I in the 2012 election, but I give him credit for reaching out to the "non-traditional" venues of the media -- the venues that more and more people are watching today like the Ryan Seacrest radio show and the late night talk shows.

As far as Bristol Palin goes, she forgot to vote, which no one would have known the difference if she wasn't being the honest young lady that she is and shared this with others.

The more McCain picks apart her fellow human beings, the more she sabotages her own character, soon making what she has to say incidental and people will no longer care.

What has turned Meghan McCain into the Perez Hilton of Washington? Perez Hilton has backed off against the bullying because he was obnoxious. What makes McCain think she can get away with this?

I agree. Seems like she always says whatever is on her mind and it makes her come across as ignorant.

Do you realize that all the nutters are either republicans and/or tea partiers?

Excellent article! I actually googled the phrase, "Who does Meghan McCain think she is?" and found it. LOVE the title. Brilliant!
    Thanks. :)

She seems like a bully, not surprising her dad did seem out of touch and full of himself and now to be knocking not only her fellow conservatives and also the opposing view, wow she is ridiculous.

She has let her hatred of Palin interfere with her common sense. Who cares if Bristol Palin voted or not? At present, she seems to be parroting her dumbass mother, so who cares? However, I think Meghan McCain is the future of the Republican Party. Educated, well read, tolerant (except of the Palins), gay-friendly, media savvy, politically adept, etc.

The arrogance is beginning to show. You can only hide behind a mask for so long. Then the true person rears their ugly head!
