Mel Gibson Ex Has Hired 39 Lawyers!
Oksana Grigorieva Hires Giant Legal Team to Battle Mel Gibson
Oksana Grigorieva is currently claiming that she was not responsible for the public release of tapes recently that document the alleged violent nature of Mel Gibson. She further states that she does not know how they got released.
Oksana Grigorieva recently told People magazine, "I've never leaked those tapes. I'd like for people to know the real Mel Gibson. Even though he's rich and famous, he's a bully. And I want other women that are in my situation to stand up to the bullies, even though it's difficult and scary."
In her quest to prove this she has supposedly hired up to 39 lawyers in her battle against ex Mel Gibson. TMZ reports that 18 of the 39 lawyers have reportedly submitted more than $1 million worth of legal fees and expenses to the court and they are requesting that Mel Gibson pay for the fees.
The most recent additional to her large legal team was Lisa Bloom. Ms. Bloom had this to say, "I beelieve Oksana is the victim of domestic violence and I'm very proud to assist her as she seeks justice."
Besides additions to the large legal team there have been subtractions. One of the most recent, Sorrell Trope, walked away from the high profile case because he grew frustrated with the publicity-driven lawyers on the large legal team. But, there is even controversay in this because Bloom is saying that the real story is that Oksana fired Trope.
Whatever the real story will be, and we may never know the whole truth, one thing is for sure, Mel Gibson's Ex has one very large and very expensive legal team.
