Mel Gibson: I'm Not Moving -- Mel, Robyn, Australia Rumor Untrue

Mel Gibson and His Ex Robyn Are Not Moving to Australia as Rumored

Radell Smith
Mel Gibson isn't going down under to Australia with his ex Robyn and "some" of their children, as being reported. The Lethal Weapon star currently making his debut in audio tapes recorded by ex girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has no intention of fleeing the states at all, according to his rep per Gossip Cop.

Mel not quitting Hollywood

A tabloid, Hollywood Life, reported that Mel Gibson felt he needed some distance between him and Oksana Grigorieva: an ocean's worth, actually. But Gossip Cop says that isn't accurate and that sources close to Mel have confirmed the reports are "complete rubbish."

Robyn Gibson did make an appearance on behalf of her ex recently in an LA County court of law, where she debunked any speculation that Mel Gibson had ever laid a hand on her or their children in their 28 years of marriage, or since. Robyn Gibson wasn't asked by the Mel Gibson camp to testify on her ex's behalf, but said she couldn't stand by and see his character wrongly assassinated any longer without speaking up.

Robyn not taking Mel back

A Hollywood Life source said that it was Robyn who convinced Mel Gibson to break from Hollywood and return to his ranch in Australia. The source also said that Robyn agreed to go with Mel and some of their children if he would flee the states.

Mel's rep denies that rumor, calling it "complete rubbish," and reaffirming to Gossip Cop that Robyn Gibson is not getting back with Mel and they are not moving to Australia together.

Mel's Mansion in Connecticut, not NY as claimed

Gossip Cop further says that the Hollywood Life tabloid claims the reason they know that Mel is fleeing the states is due to his selling his mansion in New York. But Mel doesn't own a mansion in New York, according to Gossip Cop--he and Robyn own one in Connecticut. It is that home that recently sold.

Mel and Robyn have been attempting to liquidate many of their joint assets, including works of art, since Robyn began divorce proceedings last year. Mel's selling of the Connecticut property is part and parcel of his and Robyn's efforts to sell joint holdings and prepare for the final stage of their divorce settlement. These property holding sales began taking shape long before Oksana and Mel's allegations against one another began.

Mel Gibson isn't leaving America or Hollywood for the peace of Australia, according to his rep, and Mel's ex, the mother of his seven children, Robyn Gibson, isn't leaving to go with him either. That is one rumor that is easily debunked about the actor who currently is in the spotlight for tapes that he alleges are also fabricated. Mel hopes to debunk that false claim as well, soon.

Mel Gibson's rep says Mel is not moving to Australia, in spite of a rumor to the contrary. The rumor cites Mel's Connecticut mansion sale as 'proof' but that home is part of the divorce sale that is taking place, not due to Oksana's allegations.

Poor Mel. He's really done it this time, hasn't he?

The US government should deport this poor example of a man to his "down under" environment where he belongs. We in America respect the rule of law unlike this individual who should be living with the marsupials of his land.
