Mel Gibson Quotes: Top 10 Quotes by Mel Gibson

The Best & Worst of Mel Gibson

Bryan Mckinley
Whether you are a Mel Gibson hater or a fan, you will more than likely notice the same thing about most of his best quotes; they are filled with anger. Gibson has stolen many hearts and won over the male audience for his action films. His best movies include Brave Heart, What Women Want and, of course, the Lethal Weapon movies. He has tried to find redemption in his making of The Passion of the Christ, but the personal battle with his inner demons wages on. We can hope that his future will bring more quotes of redemption and love, but for now here are his top ten best quotes.

Mel Gibson quote on Hollywood

"Hollywood is a factory. You have to realize that you are working in a factory and you're part of the mechanism. If you break down, you'll be replaced."

Mel Gibson's love for Jews

"F**king Jews...the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world."

Mel Gibson presenting his case of straightness

"But with this look, who's going to think I'm gay? It would be hard to take me for someone like that. Do I sound like a homosexual? Do I talk like them? Do I move like them?"

Quote on the scripts he receives

"If I've still got my pants on in the second scene, I think they've sent me the wrong script."

Good thing he still has 13 years to go

"I'll tell you what really turns my toes up - love scenes (between) 68-year-old men and young actresses. I promise you, when I get to that age I will say no."

A quote showing why Mel Gibson does not know What Women Want

"A woman should be home with the children, building that home and making sure there's a secure family atmosphere."

Mel Gibson quote on Alcoholism

"I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are despicable. I disgraced myself and my family with my behavior and for that I am truly sorry. I have battled with the disease of alcoholism for all of my adult life and profoundly regret my horrific relapse."

Creative place of seclusion

"I might go and go somewhere no-one can find me. You know where that is? You know where the place is no-one can find you? I was thinking of pitching my tent right next to the weapons of mass destruction. Then no-one would find me".

Mel Gibson loves Bush. The President, that is.

"The fear mongering we depict in this film reminds me a little of President Bush and his guys."

Quote on facing his demons

"I got to a very desperate place. Very desperate. Kind of jump-out-of-a-window kind of desperate. And I didn't want to hang around here, but I didn't want to check out. The other side was kind of scary. And I don't like heights, anyway. But when you get to that point where you don't want to live, and you don't want to die, it's a desperate, horrible place to be. And I just hit my knees. And I had to use The Passion of the Christ to heal my wounds".

    LOL!

Pathetic attempt to make Mel look al 'bad'ooo.

Mel is a great guy as so many that know him have said countless times. Only the media doesn't want to report THAT! Mel might make another movie they don't get a cut of! AW!
