Mel Gibson's Dad Says the Pope is Gay and Half the Vatican Too

It Seems that Ranting Runs in Mel Gibson's Family

Oh dear, it looks as if the Gibson family are in the news yet again for ranting and raving about something, but this time it's not actor Mel Gibson who is in the news, it's his Dad this time.

According to the Hollywood Gossip, Mel Gibson's father, Hutton Gibson, who is 91 and himself a controversial figure, has let rip this time with an outburst about The Pope and The Vatican.

Hutton Gibson is an outspoken critic of the Catholic Church, and his web site header states categorically that he is "defending the faith of our fathers".

In an interview with Liberty News Radio this week, Hutton Gibson said that half The Vatican is gay, and that Pope is also a homosexual, so it's a good thing that Hutton didn't pursue his original career of studying to be a priest.

When asked to clarify if he meant what he said, Hutton Gibson responded "The Vatican is full of all these child molesters, that is all there is to it", and apparently shocked listeners with his descriptions of how the Catholic Church has failed to tackle the issue of homosexuality among priests, and alleging also that Pope Benedict is involved in a Masonic conspiracy set out to destroy the Catholic Church from within..

Mel Gibson's father has not yet talked to the press about the recent scandal involving his son's girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, but you can see where Mel Gibson has obviously acquired some of this oratory skills from.

It does make you wonder if these outbursts run in the family. I know as people get older they can develop characteristics like their parents, and under stress people will do some crazy things. Take the Jet Blue flight attendant the other day who lost his rag...

I'm wondering if the Gibson's have changed careers and are now comedians or are they just plain crazy?

Whoever thought actors were supposed to be role models, let alone their families, was completely wrong! Unless they decide to enter politics, it doesn't matter much what they think!
