The hottest search of the day on Google Hot Trends was for Molinaro-who bares a striking similarity to one of the most popular women in the world. In fact, the resemblance is so close that many people are currently being fooled and actually believe Melissa to be Kim.

As it turns out, Melissa Molinaro is the subject of an Old Navy commercial. She looks so close in proximity to Kim Kardashian that people everywhere are probably losing bets that Kim is actually in the commercial.

It's amazing how much these two women look alike. Unfortunately, Molinaro is being toasted as a Kim Kardashian look alike. That's not the kind of thing a rising celebrity probably wants to hear--although if you are going to be compared to a brunette celeb it would probably be Kardashian who has established an incredible career without doing anything incredible. Kardashian has kind of pulled it off with mirrors-and now there is a girl who looks almost exactly like her on the scene.

So who is Melissa Molinaro? According to a story in Pop 2 It, Melissa is actually from Canada who has lived in relative obscurity until making waves with the new Old Navy ad. Can we expect to see her more often now that she has apparently stolen the spotlight-or at least borrowed it from Kim Kardashian for a day? She's obviously, much like Kardashian is, quite a looker. We may see more pictures and photos popping up over the next few days as this story grows legs. The Old Navy video is apparently on a mission to go viral--which is an amazing feat for anyone trying to get publicity. The addition of Molinaro might turn out to be one of the smartest "gets' ever by a clothing manufacturer. Molinaro might have an opportunity as well to strike while the iron is hot--so my guess is bigger and better roles could be a possibility. Then there's always the chance she might end up as a Kim Kardashian look alike character on a show like Saturday Night Live. I'm sure, like Kardashian, she probably has other options!
