Melissa Rycroft Joins Dancing with the Stars

After having her heart broken in front of millions of viewers, thanks to The Bachelor Jason Mesnick, Melissa Rycroft is coming back strong. Melissa will be joining the cast of Dancing With The Stars this season. I couldn't be happier! I just can't believe I didn't see this coming.

Melissa will be replacing Nancy O'Dell who incurred an injuring while rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars. Of course there is now all kinds of speculation on whether Nancy O'Dell really has an injury or if ABC just wanted Rycroft. Did they boot O'Dell out of the competition to snatch up Rycroft? It's possible. You know it is all about the ratings. This is all just speculation of course. No facts have been revealed to back up these allegations.

I am hoping in the future that Nancy O'Dell will be able to rejoin Dancing With The Stars, as well as Jewel. I believe both girls would have done a great job and would have gone far in the competition. I am now looking forward to seeing Melissa dance. I believe she will also do well since she was previously a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Although cheerleading is not the same as dancing. The background in cheerleading should help with coordination and movements though.

It is also rumored that Holly Madison, a former Hefner girlfriend, will be replacing Jewel in the dancing competition. ABC will not issue any comments so I guess we will all have to watch the Dancing With The Stars premiere Monday night to find out. This season of Dancing With The Stars is looking to be a good one.

I am glad Melissa gets to come back showing everyone she is doing okay and is fine after the break up with Jason Mesnick. I have always thought from the very beginning that Melissa was a strong person. I am glad she gets the chance to prove it to all of us. Not to mention she gets to prove it to Jason. Not that she has to prove anything to him. In my opinion, Melissa is the real winner in all of this.

Perhaps this cast change will make all the difference to the ABC show. Who knows, ratings may soar even more with the quick casting changes. I guess we may never know if it was staged or not, but I guess it doesn't matter. We will all enjoy watching Dancing With The Stars and rooting for our favorite dancing couple.
