Melitta Coffee: Your Morning Alternative to Starbucks

A Product Review

What Is Melitta?

Melitta is a company that manufactures and sells a variety of coffee and coffee-related products. They sell coffeemakers, grinders, and filters, as well as many different types of delicious coffee. Their coffee is available ground, in whole bean, or in pods, and they sell fair trade and organic coffees as well.

How Does Melitta Coffee Taste?

I was able to try the Café Collection Hazelnut Crème Brulee ground coffee, as well as the medium roast Classique Supreme, both of which tasted delicious. I particularly liked the Hazelnut Crème Brulee, because it really made my morning cup of coffee taste like a dessert. There was a definite hazelnut flavor, and a smooth vanilla base as well.

How Well Does The Ready Set Joe Work?

I was also able to try the Ready Set Joe Mug, which is a simple, non-electric, single-cup coffeemaker. I found it really useful for the times in the middle of the day when I need energy, but don't want to make a big pot of coffee. You can simply place a filter and some ground coffee on the top half, pour in some hot water, and the coffee will quickly filter into the mug below. The coffee came out the perfect strength for me, but I don't like my coffee as ridiculously strong as some people in my family.

Buying Melitta Products

You can buy Melitta coffee and other coffee-related product online at www.melitta.com. The Ready Set Joe mug is available for only $5.99, which is significantly cheaper than most coffeemakers. A bag of the Café Collection ground coffee will cost $6.99, or you can buy a sampler pack for $29.99.

The Verdict On Melitta

If you are a coffee lover or a coffee addict, then you should definitely give Melitta coffee a try. Their café collection is great if you are a fan of flavored coffees and you are looking to try something new. Their organic coffees are also great and will make you feel a little more virtuous. I highly recommend the Ready Set Joe for anyone who ever needs just a single cup of coffee. It is much cheaper than heading to Starbucks everyday to et your caffeine fix, and it is much simpler too.
