Remember in Last of the Mohicans when they are trapped in the waterfall and the bad guy Indians are coming and Daniel Day Lewis has to jump through the waterfall to escape, but Madeline Stowe can't because she's not strong enough and he doesn't want to leave her, but she tells him to go and says that if one of them survives, the other does too and then he takes her face in his hands and says, "Just stay alive! I will find you! No matter what occurs!" and then he looks at her one more time before jumping through the waterfall?
This is kind of like that.
I'll miss you.
