The third key is to provide your affiliates tools and training. Tools, resources, and materials make it easier for your affiliates to promote your products and services.
The reason being, it cuts down the work necessary to promote your product. So give them templates, give them banners, or any other written materials, visual materials, or auditory materials that they can use to promote your products and services.
A lot of the time, people will create videos that affiliates can drive traffic to. One of the videos that we have demonstrate to people how to create a Micro Continuity Site with WishList Member and our affiliates have been promoting that and driving traffic to the video and it has proven to be a very successful set of videos that affiliates can use to promote WishList Member.
They do not have to create the videos themselves. These are videos that we have created for them. These are tools that they can use to promote our particular product. You definitely want to provide different templates, banners, materials, and resources like that that your affiliates can use and begin using in their own promotional ways.
Under that you want to educate your affiliates on the best ways to sell your products. You as the site owner or perhaps somebody managing the membership site are going to know the most effective strategies for promoting your particular product. Some strategies are going to work more than others.
So, communicate that with affiliates. For example, we have certain affiliates that have done reviews on WishList Member and these reviews have ranked very, very high in the search engines and they were able to generate a large volume of traffic every single month from those reviews.
