Memoirs of an Ordinary Woman: The Journal

I've just finished my interview with Author Steven Van Patten and, it was awesome!! I was completely left in awe by the historical content in his books and the research he did to make it that way! Not to mention they are darn good books! Those of you stuck in all those other vampire series are definitely missing out if you haven't discovered Brookwater's Curse Volumes I & II!

I think I am really getting the hang of the interviewing experience. And, thanks to some great advice from Author Kerry E. Wagner, the butterflies are gone and the fun has begun! I enjoy helping expose other authors to the world and, I am truly starting to believe that radio is a good fit!

I also had a wonderful talk with my friend Cruz after the show. He gave me so many praises and much encouragement. He is one person besides Kerry that I know is going to tell me what's up; good or bad.

Today was a good day!

Tomorrow may be different though...here comes the snow....

This will be the second major snowfall we've had here in the last 60 days. When I say major, I mean major, like 20 to 30 inches of snow. I moved away from Wisconsin to get away from the grey skies and snow. I need my sunshine darn it! And, even though, the weathermen have reported this snow in eminent, they haven't closed the office yet...Big bummer! Now, I'm supposed to risk my life to drive home from work in a major snowstorm for what?? Geeezzzeee! I'll be there basically, because I like to eat on a regular basis...

I love Thursday nights though!

I get to talk about something that I absolutely love...Books! And, I get to talk about books with authors and publishers and others who help market the books I love to read.

Yes, I'm an author. But, I am an author who loves to read! And, I get to talk about authors and books on world wide radio! Life is good!

I think I have found my niche! Can't let that snow get me down; I have to make my own sunshine!
