Memoirs of a Suicide Victim

Robert Vinciguerra
Take a look at your life
Take in a breath
Stare yourself in the mirror
Without seeing death

Your family who loves you
Your friends, friends who'll always be there
Just one phone call
Then a short ride from there

You molded a mask
To mask the truth
We've always been by your side
Despair or dispute

It's not true
What they said about you
It's not you
Never more a man has been

Maybe blinded to see
But we need you
As I'll always need me

What you've known
Who you are
Lost in despair
A never ending nightmare
The terrible pain
Enough to make you give your gain

What must have went wrong
To make this, this your last song
The only time you were wrong
As always we cherish and defend your name
At only ourselves do we have to point the finger of blame

How selfish can one man be?
One hell of a time you've chosen
To engage in the ultimate anti-altruistic activity
