The Woodlands. Celebrate "Memorial Day in The Woodlands" on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. Join them for fireworks, live music, face painting and more. Hosted by the Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau, these Houston, Texas Memorial Day events will take place at Waterway Square. The fireworks will be held on both nights at approximately 9 p.m.
Brazos Bend State Park. If camping seems like the ideal way for your family to spend Memorial Day Weekend, Brazos Bend State Park offers hundreds of camp sites to enjoy. Choose to spend the weekend in one of their screened enclosures, or bring your own tent or RV. You can also picnic alongside the river, or try night fishing off the pier. You may spot alligators, white-tailed deer, and even a bobcat or two while camping, and over 270 species of birds have been spotted here as well.

It is located on Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas. Bring along some flowers to honor the fallen who died for our nation.
