Memories

Is it time? Is it my time? Three are gone. Am I next? Am I the one they will find posed next? The appetite seems to be female so I may be spared. I have the window locks on but doubt they will work if it really wants in. I've heard it enters without force. Who would let it in? I wonder if it uses a gun to get in. I don't think so. I think the girls messed up - forgot a deadbolt on a door. Maybe left a window open or something. I will not make that mistake. The deadbolt is on. The chair is wedged under the doorknob. I have a new roommate. I don't know him at all. Luckily he stays at his girlfriend's most of the time. The police say it will be awhile before it is caught. Many more might die. It leaves know clues or signs. Images of the girls haught my mind. It keeps me up at night. I get very little sleep. Usually I lie in bed waiting for that tell-tale creek, for that door knob to turn to start my ending. At some point I fall asleep for couple hours. I awake with a start at sunrise. It is my time.
