Memphis, Tennessee is a city filled with hotspots and what makes the scene interesting is the people that fill those spaces. Memphis has many talented people that sing, dance, and cook with such passion, that those around them only benefit from the best. If you find yourself in the Memphis region, be sure to stop at some of these places. You are sure to have a good time!

Gibson Guitar Lounge: Martini Mondays at the Gibson lounge is definitely the place to be for several reasons. The live band that plays is very interactive with the audience. The martinis are $5.00 all night. The setting is warm and inviting. The food is tasty. The location is in the heart of the downtown area so once you leave the Lounge, you can head over to Beale Street. This is a place where you can either take a date and have an intimate night, or go out with a group of your closest friends to mingle and have a good time. Overall, this jazzy place really gives you an old school feeling.

Senses Nightclub: Senses nightclub is a nice place to mingle with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. On Sunday nights, the club has an old school Sunday and it is one of the most popular nights for the club. Lots of celebrities frequent the club when in town. The club offers several varieties of martinis that have Bacardi flavor. What makes this club so dynamic is the various sections that people can go in to have a good time. Aside from the VIP section which has tables and booths for people to reserve, there is a large area outside with a bar, two nice separate rooms (some people hold parties in these rooms), and an entrance area that lots of people like to enjoy the televisions at the bar. The staff and owners are really welcoming and try to cater to their customers.

Silver Spoon: The Silver Spoon is a fun, chic club in the East Memphis area that is especially nice to visit on Friday nights. The club is free for women (yea!) and it is definitely the place to be. This place gets crowded really early so I would suggest that you get there around 9:00. The drinks are pretty good and the music is always hype.

Swig: Swig is a nightclub that is also located in downtown Memphis close to the Peabody Place. Immediately when you walk in, there is up tempo music that really gets the party going. The drinks here are fabulous! They have interesting mixes like the Jolly Rancher, the Flirtini, and the Swig. This club also serves as a restaurant. I would suggest their Venetian pizza, which has an eclectic mix of spinach, mushrooms, artichokes, and spicy sauces. This place also serves tasty sushi. Swig has a small, chic patio where people can sit out, eat and drink, and take in the city scenes.

Premier: The Premier nightclub has had such celebrities visit such as Diddy, Nelly, Lil Wayne, T.I., Twister, Tracy McGady, and many more. The great celebrities that frequent this club is a testament to its wonders. This club caters to both young and old. The dance floor is huge and the club has room for over 3,000 people. Because so many people like to come to this club, it is imperative that you get there as early as possible.

Memphis has tons of hotspots that suit anyone's mood. The nightclubs/restaurants that I have mentioned above are for nights when you feel like picking up your friends, getting dressed up, and ready to party. Many of these places have websites so check them out and get a feel for what Memphis offers those that seek a good time.
