How men can avoid scammers on dating websites:
Falling Fast- When you start talking to a woman on a dating site and she seems to fall in love with you fast, it is probably risky to continue the conversation. No one can fall in love within 15 minutes of talking to someone. In fact, a few days of talking to someone on the internet. If a woman begins to tell you within a very short period of time that she is in love with you, you should beware that this is possibly a danger zone. Cut off the conversation and stay away from chatting with this woman again.
Asking for Money- If a woman begins to ask you for money or starts talking about money problems shortly after meeting your online, this is probably a scam on that dating site. It has happened on sites like FaceBook, PlentyofFish, and SinglesNet. There are other possible sites that this happens on, but these have been known sites where woman are trying to scam men.
Nationality- Although the female scammers can be from the United States, most of the scammers come form countries outside of the United States. There are several reasons that these women try to scam you from distant countries. For one thing, there are some women from other countries that want to come to the United States to become citizens. Meeting someone online is one of the possible ways that these women can pull off this scam. Another reason is that it is hard to prosecute someone who lives in another country for crimes done over the internet. Cash money was never so easy for some people.
Protect Yourself- Don't let yourself get involved or fall too quickly for someone who is telling you they love you too soon. These women usually show you beautiful pictures of themselves. There is no guarantee that those pictures are really the person that you are talking to. Remember that beauty is truly only skin deep. Take your time and protect your heart from getting involved until you know more and have invested some time into the person that you are talking to.
Instincts- Always follow your instincts. Women aren't the only ones that have instincts. Men have them to. Learn to use them to decide if a woman is trying to scam you on a dating site. If you have any doubts at all, it is better to walk away before you invest too much of your heart and money into someone that has no intention of doing anything but taking you for a ride.
Scammers have been on the internet since they figured out how easy it is to do so. The influx of women trying to scam men on dating websites is a sign that things are only getting worse. Protect yourself and don't give too much of yourself until you can meet the woman you are talking to on the dating website in person. Finding people to date and fall in love with online is alright, but you have to be very careful about who you are talking to. You could lose everything you own.
