Men in Uniform; Why Are They so SEXY?
I don't know maybe I watched too many old movies growing up where the hero always seems to be in some kind of uniform. Whether it be Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines, they were really drop dead gorgeous, and of course Mr.Wondereful. Perhaps it's what they represent, and not really the uniform. Naah, they look good in those uniforms. I don't know too many woman that don't get just a little bit warm when men in uniform are around. Yes, that definitely includes me.
Most can understand the idea of thinking men in military uniforms are really sexy. I mean, remember Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentlemen, be still my heart! But, my lets' say unique perspective includes most uniforms. You know the blue ones that mechanics wear, or even a waiter in a fifties diner, with their little white hats. Yes, I think they're all cute.
Again, maybe it's what the uniform represents. I mean after all, most men in uniform are not usually professional people, their usually the every day Joe, uncomplicated and doing what they need to do to get through life. Quite frankly a suit and tie never really impressed me. To me it says, anal retentive, career oriented, probably won't have time for family. So, maybe I'm on to something here. Perhaps it is what the uniform represents to me. I have always liked the simple, laid back; my job doesn't exist after 5:00 PM, kind of man. Let's face it, most men in uniform; at least the ones I have known are not in love with their jobs or career. Their first priority is their family, and spending time with them. That's pretty sexy to me!
I seriously thought about it, and no this is not a fetish. It's not something I have to have, or can't get excited without. It's just some little thing I acquired along the way. I may never really know why. One thing I know for sure, I am not alone in this. Many women like men in uniform, as well. Many men like women in bikinis or lingerie. Now bikini and lingerie are not a uniform, per say, except maybe for the French Maid thing, but it is a certain way of dressing that obviously affects men the way it does. It obviously says something to them. However, that's another article.
Well, whatever the reason men in uniform seem so sexy doesn't really matter. Everyone has their little thing that really gets them going, and as long as it's harmless, I say go for it! Now I know why one of the best times in my life is when I was in the Air Force. I mean after all, men in uniform were all over the place!

Are You For real?- You obviously have a serious reading comprehension problem. perhaps, you can re-read the article when you have corrected it. I said MOST men in unifrom are NOT USUALLY professional. There are tens of millions of blue collar workers that wear unifroms that are not considered professional workers. Perhaps you should look up the definition. Second, being a veteran that served during the Vietnem War, as well as was married to an airman, I would never insult the military, EVER. Third you obviously have no idea what a fetish is. Just because someone thinks someone looks cute or sexy in a unifrom, or any other type of dress, doesn't have a fetish. A fetish is a serious sexual dysfunction. Also, I think you are the one that has insulted the military. If you have a sense of power as a military professional, your in the wrong business. You are there to serve and protect, not to be IN POWER! You are very ignorant on a lot of levels!

You aren't crazy. There IS something about a man in uniform. I think a lot of it has to do with the way they carry themselves. They walk a little taller, stand a little straighter, are more aware of their surroundings because they don't want to disgrace the uniform. I wish I could find the picture of my husband (then boyfriend) in uniform at age 20. He was the most gorgeous thing I'd ever seen in my life. I still see him that way, no matter what.
