The Holiday Season is always a very special time, and many different cultural and ethnic events occur during the months preceding and, in some cases, immediately following it. One such event is the Menorah in Shain Park. This year, the special lighting ceremony will be held on December 1, 2010, at 7:00 PM; the menorah will stay lighted until December 9, 2010 at 12:00 AM (midnight).

If you would like more information about this beautiful Jewish tradition and its meaning, as well as information on the event itself, you can contact the Birmingham-Bloomfield Chai Center for more information at 248.203.6721.

When this was written, the source above said 7pm...these are written several weeks ahead of time. If you would like to email me directly with specific events, then please message me on here and I'll provide my contact.

    Thanks!
