Mental Health on Earth

In a world where everyone is a liar and everyone is afraid of everyone else, inconsequential people try to live happily, based on material pleasures.

Other people try to impose their ideas and be commanders. Everyone here is a genius and their solution will save the world.

However, the world remains polluted and absurd, full of immorality, lies, hypocrisy, indifference to human pain, poverty, wars, crimes, prisons, prosecutions, terrorism, and many other horrors, without end...

This is a world where only those who have money have the chance to have "human rights". Poor people are treated like animals.

A world where everyone pretends to be something else, what many times is clearly visible, but nobody cares, because everyone here is a big liar anyway, and we already know that nobody is really sincere.

In a world like that, do you think that you can be balanced and keep your mental health for life?

Perhaps you do, because everyone here has the right to believe whatever they wish. Yes, but not because we are democratic: because we don't know what is true and what is false. Therefore, everyone here can declare whatever they wish and nobody knows if they are lying...

Or better to say, "how much they are lying", since sincerity on Earth is like peace: it simply does not exist.

However, we have laws. Many laws, as a matter of fact, because we are very well organized.

The problem is that most people don't care about obeying them...

It is ok, everyone knows that. This is also part of the collection of things that "we know" but that we never assume. This knowledge is secret.

If anyone would dare asking us if we obey the laws, we are going to say that "yes, of course we do", independently of the fact that we may not. It doesn't matter: the positive answer is always on the tip of our tongue. We are always correct in front of strangers, soldiers and other enemies.

With our friends, things are totally different. (Everyone knows that too). With our friends we tell jokes, we make fun of our bosses, we offend common friends and other people that are not present when we say whatever we wish against them... in other words, with our friends we are free!

Everything in life is necessary.

Wish we could be always free and say to everyone whatever we would wish to! However, this would be quite dangerous. Everyone would live cursing others...

Sincerity on Earth would be a real disaster.

This is why all our lies are indispensable!

Now, you may wonder if you are really balanced like the rest of the world, or if you are crazy...

I hope you won't mind being considered somehow mentally ill, if I may present the truth in a delicate and polite form, so that my observation may sound worthy and have your attention.

However, if you believe that you are sensible and always will be and that the world is simply going to improve some day, I sincerely apologize for my doubts.
