Twenty-Nine Toppings for Sub Sandwiches Plus a Unique Recipe

V. L. Hamlin
Offer your family a delicious dinner without spending hours in the kitchen. Sub sandwiches are easy to prepare and fun to eat. Let everyone in your family build their own hero's with their favorite toppings.

Serve subs or sandwiches for dinner and get everyone involved in the preparation. Allow your children to set the table with dishes, serving spoons, napkins and condiments while you slice and chop meat, veggies and toppings to place on your sandwiches. Use leftover meat from previous dinners to save money or buy sliced lunchmeat instead.

Bottom Feeder Submarine

Choose the following from the above list:
1 - 12 inch sub roll
Three meats
Two cheeses
3 to 4 veggies
3 to 4 condiments/extras

Slice the sub roll lengthwise, leaving one side intact. Lay the bread open and slather it with condiments. Place one meat on the bread, then one cheese. Cover the cheese with veggies and any extras, and then place the remaining meat and cheese on top. Place a knife in the center and press down while you close roll to keep everything inside the bread. Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
