This isn't really a problem being able to hear everyone's noise as long as it's kept to a respectable level but at 3 pm in the afternoon when the parks workers are sent to your cabin requesting that you turn down your music it makes you start to wonder, what exactly a respectable level is.
While there I had the radio turned on while I was writing. Laptop and paper work spread across a picnic table, music at a general low, some people around laughing and I could still work comfortably without interference. The next thing I know is the parks "patrol" is coming over and asking me to lower the music because someone complained of the noise from the radio and the people laughing. I was stunned needless to say, I asked them what is a respectable level and I was told anything that could not be heard by the next camp site over. So I tried to plead my case by explaining I could hear their toilets flushing how was I to make sure nothing I did on my side would be heard by them. They basically shrugged their shoulders and told us how they had a complaint earlier because someone was using a leaf blower!!!
As for amenities, while there I played bocce horseshoes and then gave up. The horseshoe pit was well, let's just say it needs some work. One of the posts was already leaning and could easily be moved around; forget a ringer because once the horseshoe hit it was knocked to the side. Not to mention who puts horseshoe pit's right next to what they consider the kids sandbox? The sandbox was a huge mound of sand dumped on the ground, pretty much a free for all kitty litter box. I really don't have anything to say bad about the bocce court it was actually set up fine.
The WIFI was interesting you could only have one log in per camping area. If someone else from your group would like to get online you would need to pay 5.00 per log in. Which isn't all that bad but considering you pay for every single extra thing you would think they would give or take on something especially with their outlandish cabin prices.
So if you're looking for a place where you can kick back and relax play some music and have a good laugh with some friends, this is absolutely not the place. Also I should mention I wanted to go to the lake, but found out after the fact you had to walk all the way to the end of the park, cross the street and walk through a trail through the woods to get to it.
The next camping trip I take I will go on recommendations of friends and not just choose a place online based on availability and what I read on their website.
