Mere Reflection

Mandy Kaye
I smile, you smirk
I go to touch you
But you mock me
I stare into you and I see
Myself
Cloudy, distant
A mirror reflection

I move, you move
Our lips almost meet
Your body presses hard against mine and
For a moment our hearts beat as one
I bare my body, you bare your soul
Like reflective glass
But the image is distorted
Tangled flesh and sparkling skin
The night is crawling
Like a shiver down my spine
But your breath is hot
Steamy, foggy
Time stands still
As you whisper past my ear
Time stands still
As you whisper
Whisper
I am distracted

I gaze into your eyes
I see a reflection
But it's not the same
You fill my body, you fill
My soul
Transformed, complete
It's more than a mere reflection

This is a true comment: I think this is more than a mirror reflection and sex that is making love when you can gaze into anothers eyes and have the feeling of completeness. That is magic the hard part of the trick is to get the other person to feel the same.

one person told me to write about sex and one said a mirror. so i did.

is this showing the similarities of sex and a reflection in the mirror or just talking about you masturbating in front of one?
