Merry Christmas to All

Right now my oven and crockpot, washer and dryer are busy, hubby has gone to town to pick up a few last-minute items for tomorrow's big meal, and I'm antsy knowing I should be up and getting something done. But I just wanted to take a second to say thank you to all my friends on AC and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

In spite of all the illness and craziness in my life and family right now, I'm reminded every day how very good God is and has always been to us. He has never failed us yet and never will. Quite often His answer to my prayers is either "no" or "not now" but I know He is so much wiser than I am and He always sees the total picture and knows what's best for us all--even if it's not always pleasant.

I'm currently dealing with having one of the DePuy recalled hips and was expecting to have to have it replaced soon. But yesterday the doctor told me to wait three months and come back for retesting the cobalt and chromium levels in my blood. That may not sound like such a good thing, but it was such a huge relief to at least get a little reprieve. So I thank Him for that.

I hope my friends will all remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. He is the best gift ever given to any of us. I wish for you all the very best Christmas and New Year you have ever experienced. I love you all.
