Merry Christmas Volunteers ~ You Make a Difference!
A Year of Poems: Day Three Hundred and Fifty-Seven
This poem is dedicated to Michele and Keith Starkey. Two people who represent the true spirit of volunteering and love for their fellow man. I am blessed to know you!!
Wishing you the merriest Christmas
For those who give up so much
Who sacrifice their free time
For the ones they forever touch!
They are true heroes and sheroes too
To them we bow our heads
And say an extra prayer of thanks
As we are tucked warmly in our beds!
So before you open all your gifts
Just stop and give a nod
To pray we never need such help
And think about how you serve God!
