In Las Vegas Nevada you can find lots of fine dinning options. The tough part is not finding a high class restaurant but finding one that is worth what you pay for the food. Caesar's Palace has a few high end dinning options. How does the Mesa Grill at Caesar's Palace stuck up to other local Las Vegas high priced restaurants? You are going to have to read on to find out.

The Mesa Grill is located at Caesar's Palace on the Strip at 3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South in Las Vegas Nevada. The Mesa Grill is a find dinning choice at Caesar's so it is pricey. The big question though is it worth the price?

As you may have guessed the Mesa Grill offers Tex-Mex food. The Mesa Grill is also fairly new. Being new it is popular but being new you would expect it to be popular so that does not mean it is good. Mesa Grill does take reservations and because of the popularity you should get them because even with them you can expect to have a long wait once you do get there so don't expect to be seated when your reservation is.

Many western states have great Mexican and Tex-Mex food. However Nevada is not one of the more popular Mexican food spots in the west. Mesa Grill is probably one of the best Tex-Mex food spots in Las Vegas but that is not saying much.

The biggest problem I had with Mesa Grill is that I grew up in Southern California with some of the best Mexican and Tex-Mex food in the country. I expect some good Mexican food. You can get better food cheaper at a gas station in La Jolla then you can get at the Mesa Grill.

By no means is the food bad but I have high expectations with this kind of food. In Las Vegas you wont find better Tex-Mex but Las Vegas is not known for its Tex-Mex food.

If you have had lots of good Tex-Mex you may be disappointed but Mesa Grill. If you like Tex-Mex but have not had much then you may enjoy the Mesa Grill. If you are going to a nice expensive restaurant in Las Vegas I would probably choose somewhere else. Mesa Grill is not bad but it is not great and your money is better spent somewhere else.
