Message from Barack Antoinette to Americans Who Can't Afford $4 Per Gallon Gas

Let Them Buy Expensive Hybrids!

Compelled by the same need to defend ObamaCare a year after he signed it into law, President Barack Obama was in Pennsylvania applying the same effort to convince Americans that his green policy is equally essential to our survival. In spite of the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans oppose his new energy plans, just as we did with ObamaCare, Stimulus One and Stimulus Two, he is making it clear he is going to shove it down our throats anyway.

Speaking to workers at a wind turbine plant in Pennsylvania, the president admitted that his plans to force nudge Americans toward acceptance of his energy independence plans will be tough. With gas prices pushing $4 per gallon, Obama said his goal is to reduce oil imports by one-third by 2025 and to move the country instead toward "a future where America is less dependent on foreign oil, more reliant on clean energy" produced by the more environmentally friendly means he desires. Of course, the alternative sources of a large-scale replacement for that energy have yet to be discovered let alone developed. However, While President Obama admits there is little he is willing to do can do to remedy our suffering right now, he stands firm in his determination to prevent America from drilling our own oil in the Gulf, crippling production of existing wells and bankrupting the coal industry.

"Gas prices? They're going to still fluctuate until we can start making these broader changes, and that's going to take a couple of years to have serious effect," Obama said. When asked what Americans were supposed to do in the meantime, the president was strangely humored. "If you're complaining about the price of gas," he laughed, "and you're only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know. You might want to think about a trade-in."

At another event, when asked by a father with ten children how he was supposed to afford gas, the president laughed at him too, telling him to go out and buy a hybrid van. The Cadillac Escalade is the first hybrid vehicle to come closest to accomodating him as well as all of his children. However, the capacity to seat only eight passengers safely doesn't quite suit his needs and if he is struggling to afford gas I think it's safe to say the $70,000.00 price tag to go hybrid would equally be a bit challenging.

Honestly, if someone is struggling to pay $4.00 for a gallon of gas, how on earth are they supposed to "think about a trade-in" or afford to buy an outrageously high-priced hybrid to put it in? That's like saying if someone can't afford bread, let them eat cake! The hubris that our president wants to lecture us on fiscal responsibility while his policies are systematically dismantling our financial stability is embarrassing. The irony that he chose to launch his insulting "Let them buy Expensive Hybrids" speeches in a place called Fairless Hills is epic.
