Poem Based on Verses from Messianic Psalms
and the rulers gather together against the Lord
and against his Anointed One
You mounted the cherubim and flew
You soared on the wings of the wind
We will shout for joy when you are victorious
and will lift up our banners in the name of our God
Your hand will lay hold on your enemies
Your right hand will seize your foes
In your majesty ride forth victoriously
In behalf of truth, humility and righteousness
Let your right hand display awesome deeds
May your name endure forever
May it continue as long as the sun
All nations will be blessed through you
and they will call you blessed
The heavens praise your wonders, O Lord
Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones
We will sing of your love and justice
to you, O Lord, we will sing praise
The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind
You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek
For the Lord has chosen Zion
He has desired it for his dwelling
Part your heaven, O Lord, and come down.
