Metaphors and Words

AnnaB
Rivers, waves, and oceans all
A whisper so loud, the stars in the sky tremble and fall.

A fallen star, splashing into the ocean, splashing salty teardrops to the sky-
The shining bright moon twinkles, as the teardrops dry.

Metaphors, dance across the page, who knows where they will land.
Casting shadows on distant memories, perhaps alone we'll forever stand.

Intelligence, confounded, words blended and cast aside.
Walking confident, how soon, the wind we'll ride.

Slipping and sliding soon, the top of the mountain we'll see.
Skies speckled with shinning stars, soon our memory will be set free.

Metaphors, dance on the wind, metaphoric changes to any given word, flames a memory.
Shadows dancing within the frame that holds are mind captive; we sift yet another story --
