It's called, "Method Lil' Bowl Blue Toilet Bowl Cleaner". If you happen to be eating dinner, you may want to put your fork down, because I'm about to go into details. For starters, this cleaner is very thick. Every other cleaner I've tried, even the highly reputable Scrubbing Bubbles is watered down compared to this. It's almost the consistency of honey. (I tried to avoid a food comparison, but it's the perfect description. Hey, I told you to put down the fork, didn't I?) This means that it coats the entirety of the bowl interior. When you walk away to leave the cleaner to sit, it stays just as thick for however long before you come back in to scrub and then flush.
There are other benefits outside of how effective it is. You see, the Method brand cleaners are non-toxic. This bowl cleaner is bleach-free as well. So compared to other cleaners, it's very green and earth-friendly. The other benefit to the cleaner not containing bleach is that it won't stink up the bathroom. I truly hate the chemical smell that most cleaners have, and the absence of it makes a nice difference. You would imagine that something without bleach wouldn't be as effective, but it is. The scent to the cleaner is eucalyptus. This manages to deodorize the room, which is a pretty tall order for a bathroom. But I swear it does the trick.
The icing on the cake is the fact that the packaging is attractive. (Ooh sorry, another food description. Gross.) It's practical as well. It's shorter than most toilet bowl cleaner bottles, so if you have a smaller space underneath your sink, don't worry about this one. It'll fit perfectly. It also has a little curve in the design of the bottle neck, so you don't have to reach into the bowl to get under the lip of the porcelain. It lasts longer than I have ever had any other cleaner last, sometimes even making it for two to three months. See? I told you, this is practically the second coming of household cleaners. It just makes me want to skip around the house like a 1950's housewife. Method brand has put out an entire line of household cleaners, you can bet I'll be trying each and every one and giving you the report card on each. I can only hope they're all as effective as Method's Lil' Bowl Blue.
