At the time, I had no caller ID, no call waiting and no voicemail. I was paying about $46 a month (including taxes) and that was only for unlimited calls and texting. I was not satisfied because I thought it would at least include caller ID.
Recently, MetroPCS has updated their phone service and lowered their price by a few dollars. This has been a major improvement since last year. I now receive caller ID, voicemail, call waiting and even web access, all of which I had not received before.
I did not even know I had some of these features until I saw a billboard advertising MetroPCS for $40 a month, unlimited text, calling and web. I said I'm paying this amount, I should be getting that. I checked my phone's web access and it allowed me to surf the net. I am very excited to see these new changes.
Now for just $40 a month, I can text as many times as I want, talk on the phone as much as I want, check the web, see who's calling me, click over to receive another call when I'm already on the phone and if I can't answer the phone, my voicemail will pick it up. This is a great deal compared to what I hear other people are paying for their phone service.
The things I do not have are picture messaging and a few other options, but if I wanted to add those features, I would have to pay extra money per month. I will stay with the $40 plan. It is affordable and it is a good value for the money.
Another good thing about MetroPCS is that you do not have to sign any contracts to receive service from them. You can pay as you go on a monthly basis. MetroPCS sends me a reminder text message stating that my balance is due and how much my balance is.
There are other ways to pay. You could pay by phone, online, mail or in person at a MetroPCS store. I pay in person at a local MetroPCS store but I do have to pay an extra couple dollars to pay my bill at the store.
So I am updating my previous review and saying that MetroPCS has certainly improved it's services and I would recommend it to those who are looking to save some money on their cell phone bills each month. At this time, I am completely satisfied with MetroPCS as my cell phone provider.
