Mexican Pan Dulce has been Mexico's morning breakfast for years or at least one of their morning breakfast treats. Mexican Pan Dulce is eaten with a small cup of coffee, and to make the bread taste even better you can add some non-dairy creamer to the coffee and the taste is just amazing.
The way this bread is made is very simple, but the recipes are kept in secret minds from the envy of other businesses according to Mexican Citizens. But, from some of the inside people who make the bread have told me some of their secrets in making Mexican Pan Dulce. And, some the ingredients are basic like eggs are used to mix the dough for the bread, and the cream fillings and crust on top the bread is made from one-hundred percent sugar, but the way the sugar is worked is a mystery, because the bread comes out from the oven not over sweetened. Mexican Pan Dulce is made in different shapes and sizes but it's the consumer's choice on what kind to buy. I myself go for the colorful Mexican Pan Dulce with plenty of sugar frosting on top. Or maybe I'll buy the Porquitos or Piggies that is Mexican Pan Dulce shaped like pigs.
Mexican Pan Dulce is sold all over Mexico in bread stores called Panaderias and there is plenty of Panaderies in Mexico. The Mexican bread makers start making bread around 3AM in the morning and usually sell out every single day. The Mexican Panaderies have special orders that must be met every single day according to costumer needs. Then the bread is sold at the main Mexican bakery where it is made, and the price is at wholesale, but the freshness is amazing to last bite of every piece of Mexican Pan Dulce.
By now all you readers are about to leave your seats and travel to Mexico to get some Pan Dulce, but readers just relax because in about every big city in the U.S. there is Mexican Panaderies to serve your taste buds.
