Mexican Restaurants for Cinco De Mayo in Tucson Arizona

I would consider Tucson Arizona to be a haven for Mexican Restaurants. As you can see by my list below, we have very many Mexican restaurants here. Every big Mexican restaurant in Tucson will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo in their own way. I would think that just by eating Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo is a way to honor Mexico. I included a list of smaller Mexican restaurants at the bottom of my list, in case you would like to do some quiet celebrating on your own, as you dine out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - or maybe even take the food home.

This has been my favorite Mexican Restaurant for over 30 years. They serve lunch specials, regular menu items and buffet and have a full bar. Ask anyone about their margaritas. Some say their food prices are a bit high, but it tastes great. The Speedway location also has outdoor patio seating. They have a separate full carry-out area. They are open Sunday-Saturday: 11:00 A.M.-10:00 P.M. Coupons for this restaurant are often circulated in the mail.

La Fuente is located at: 1749 N. Oracle Road. The food is excellent, especially their fresh guacamole. They serve lunch buffet, dinner and Sunday brunch. They are open: Sunday-Thursday: 11:00 A.M.-10:00 P.M.; and Friday & Saturday: 12:00 P.M.-11:00 P.M. Sunday Champagne Brunch is from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. and the cost is $14.99 for adults; ½ price for children 3-11 and under 3 eat free. The restaurant has a full service bar. Happy Hour is Wednesday-Friday from 3:00 P.M.-5:30 P.M., which includes free appetizers. On Monday-Wednesday there's live music by a solo guitarist and every Thursday-Sunday they have live Mariachi music. You can find discount food coupons to print out on their website. Along with tacos and burritos, they sell American food such as burgers, wings and salads, plus margaritas, tequila and of course (reference to their name) cerveza.
