That's right. Everyone's favorite pop-gangstress (gangster + songstress) M.I.A. will be performing for free at Brooklyn Bowl on October 6th. M.I.A. rose to fame with her hit "Paper Planes" and has rocketed to international fame.
M.I.A. is one of the most progressive and unique artists around these days, so I for one will be jumping at the chance to see her in a small venue like this and for nothing more than the lint in my pocket!
She just released a new album (Maya) so hopefully she'll treat us to some of her new tracks that have been blowing up the music scene since its release in July.
It's rare to see such a celebrated musician in such an intimate setting for so cheap a price. Opportunities like these don't come around that often so make sure you do what you get to get there on the 6th!
Don't slack on this one. You can be sure that the tickets will be snatched up quickly. Hope to see you there!
