George and Sim admire each other. For example, George told Sim about what happened to Len in the club that no one was to know. This shows that George trusts Sim very much and they get along. This is because Sim is a honest man to show he is trustworthy enough to George. For example, Sim tells George he had to eat Len candy. This shows that George trusts Sim by eating Len's candy. This is because Len ate Curly's wife and Curly wanted to get him back, but George did it him himself.
George and Len look out for each other. For example, Len was in Cros room and when Cros talked about George Len said you talk about him and you will get hurt and he got scared. This shows that Len would hurt someone if something would happen to George. This also shows that Lencares for George. For example, George helped Len get out of jail. This shows that George helps Len for everything he had done. This is because Len has a mental problem, but still knows stuff and know what he is doing. Curly hates Len. For example, Curly hates big guys and Len is the biggest guy on the ranch. This shows that when Len was laughing Curly thought he was laughing at him and then punched Len in the face. This is because he hates big guys and to show his wife he is tough. For example, Len is scared of Curly. This shows that Len never talks to Curly because he thinks he is going to get beat up by Curly. This is because Curly acts tough so he wants to fight. These are the relationships that show complex relationships. People in relationships hurt one another can get along. The characters Of Mice and Men show bad and good relationships. It's just like real life, life change just like the weather. You could be a good friend one day and the next day you could hate. It really doesn't take much for someone to turn their back on you, it could be the littlest thing, like money. Money can change almost anyone
