Michael Bolton Channels Master P & Scores a 3 on Dancing with the Stars Season 11 Week 2 [Full DWTS Leaderboard]

Dancing with the Stars season 11 week 2 kicked the fledgling competition into high gear on Monday evening as the 11 remaining celebrity contestants and their pro partners took on one of two challenging dances in either the Quickstep or the Jive. Here's a peek at the very best of the bunch, and the one that was so bad that it prompted judge Bruno Tonioli to dub it one of the worst in DWTS history.

Since mama always said it's best to be nice, we'll review the trio of leaderboard-topping ladies (and one hip dude) first. Week one princess Jennifer Grey retained her position at the head of the class thanks to a feisty Jive that Bruno Tonioli called "wicked". The dance was so good, in fact, that Carrie Ann Inaba dubbed the 50-year old actress a "sexy, hot, energetic bionic bunny". The arguably underscored routine earned JGrey and partner Derek Hough a 24.

Just a single point behind the leaders with a total of 23 for the evening were The Hills star Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani, who executed a pretty and fast-paced Quickstep to the tune of Love Machine. All three judges praised their effort and improvement, and Bruno noted that "the show pony is turning into Secretariat". Yee haw!

Finally, sitting pretty after Dancing with the Stars season 11 week 2, are teen activist Bristol Palin and Disney actor Kyle Massey, who each earned 22 points. Palin's Quickstep was surprisingly solid and flowy, and she drew praise from Carrie Ann in the form of likening to previous DWTS contestant Kelly Osbourne, who charmed America with her dedication and often surprising skills in the ballroom. Massey delivered his second extremely entertaining dance of the season. It was technically imperfect, but all three judges were again taken with his charm and energy.

So that's it for the week 2 creme de la creme. When a dance is so awful that a judge calls it one of the worst in the history of the show, it's noteworthy, so we'll touch on singer Michael Bolton's Jive. He was, as was the case during week one, stiff and awkward, and he appeared to repeatedly lose his place and forget the choreography. And the judges were brutal in response, with Len Goodman claiming that "a pooper scooper" would be necessary to clean up the mess and Bruno calling it "the worst Jive in 11 seasons". For their efforts, he and partner Chelsie Hightower earned a 12, matching DWTS Hall of Shame contestant Master P's season 2 week 1 score, including a jaw-dropping 3 from Bruno's cruel paddle.

I have watched Dancing with the Stars since Season 1. I think that Bruno, was way out of line, with his comments to Michael Bolton, these stars are not proffesionals, he coulds treat them as human beings. Bruno owes Michael Bolton an apology on the air.
He should also sit down and make his comments classy...rather than his sexy displays. I you can see I am not a fan, which is a shame as I have been a fan in the past.

I don't know why I thought Michael Bolten would be bad on DWTS... but it looks like I was right, lol. Great recap! Thanks again for all your hard work!
