Michael Jackson, 'Another Day'-- Wow! Another Awesome Unreleased Song

Rik Merchant
Another new song by Michael Jackson has come to light. The song, 'Another Day', appears to be authentic Michael Jackson. You can hear a snatch of it (one verse) on YouTube or on MJStar, the website that put up the YouTube offering. It plays for one minute and twenty-six seconds. Update 1/5/10:Sorry, these links no longer work because- "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Sony BMG Music Entertainment (Sony BMG Music Entertainment, BMG."

According to SkyNews online, Michael Jackson may have collaborated with American American multi-music-genre man Lenny Kravitz. But in the snippet, other than Jay-Z's voice, the only other is what seems to assuredly be Michael Jackson's voice. The imagery is of a colorful dreamlike outer space with an apparent portrait of an early pre-plastic-surgery-overdose Michael Jackson face wearing sunglasses emerging from the celestial visions.

'Another Day' is reportedly the King of Pop's version of the Lenny Kravitz song 'Storm' from Mr. Kravitz's album Baptism, in 2004. The Krav said in an interview shortly after Mr. Jackson's death on June 25, 2009 that he had been working on a song with the legendary Jackson. However, there is no sign of the Krav's voice on 'Another Day'. Perhaps another track will surface. Or perhaps the dynamic music collaboration was for another song.

A previous MJ song leaked to the Internet was "This Is It', which was eventually released in October 2009 before the eponymous documentary. According to Rolling Stone (RS) online, a song that has still not been released but wound up on the Internet in July 2009 was MJ's version of America's 'Horse With No Name'- 'A Place With No Name'. That snippet played for twenty-four seconds. (This link still works).

RS previously reported that Michael Jackson's manager, Frank DiLeo, told them that MJ left behind 'hard drives full of unreleased songs feature collaborations with artists like Ne-Yo and Akon'- and also rapper Will.i.am, who reportedly is friends with Tiger Woods' "First Mistress" Rachel Uchitel. The unreleased songs also include 1980s leftover material and, said Mr. DiLeo to RS, "There are a couple of songs we recorded for the Bad album that we had to cut that are just sensational."
