Entrepreneurs Moved Fast

Michael may have had personal struggles and legal entanglements that made his life very colorful, his music and electrifying performances never waned. He also continued to command a great following wherever he goes. And despite his health problems, the most famous of which was his vitiligo, he continued to be an iconic superstar.

With his death, numerous memorabilia like Michael Jackson T-shirts, Michael Jackson posters, and the like have been selling like hotcake. And most of all, people have been emptying the shelves of Michael Jackson CDs and DVDs of his music videos.

It is no surprise really because with his death, items relating to Michael already have a tremendous collector's value. Michael will never be able to produce records again and people will never hear him sing live anymore, but his music and performances will still be remembered through these merchandise.

The more enterprising people are capitalizing on Michael's death. On CNN, a man already sold 300 home-made Michael Jackson T-shirts just a few hours after the King of Pop's demise. I just hope that opportunistic entrepreneurs would not prey on fans because Michael would not like that. He loved his fans as much as he loves to perform for them.

Michael Jackson was very popular when he was alive. He was very bankable for the music studios because he attracted throngs of people. He lived longer than the King of Rock 'N Roll Elvis Presley that is why his followers spanned several decades. But he is more popular now that he is dead.

Too bad the world will never see Michael Jackson alive anymore. He entertained people with his life more than his music did.
