Michael Jackson, icon, was buried Thursday night, September 3, 2009 at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California at a private ceremony for his family and friends; approximately 200 guests were invited. Security was very heavy and they did an outstanding job.

Forest Lawn is L. A.'s famous site for the rich and famous. Inside the mausoleum where Jackson was laid to rest are all marble; and displays the painting of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Super recreated in stained glass.

It was extremely quiet when Jackson's casket, covered with white flowers, arrived and his brothers, all dressed alike and wearing red ties, carried the casket to the front of the guests and family. His children walked up and laid flowers on the casket. Lee Marie Presley, Jackson's former wife, was said to be very emotional when the casket arrived.

Among the famous guests at Jackson's funeral were; Quincy Jones, Kris Tucker, Elizabeth Taylor, Miko Brando, MacCaulay Culkin, Lisa Marie Presley, Jackson's former wife and Stevie Wonder. Al Sharpton, was a speaker and Gladys Knight sang The Lords Prayer.

Debbie Rowe, Jackson's second wife and mother of his two older children were invited but she didn't attend. Diana Ross was also invited and didn't attend. They are both in good standing with the Jackson's and had their reasons for not attending the funeral service.

Michael Jackson died 70 days ago, at age 50, on June 25, 2009. L. A. coroner ruled Jackson's death a homicide, meaning he died at the hands of another. Acute propofol intoxication was the cause of death. Propofol and benzodiazepines were the main contributing factors. Other drugs found in the Super Star's blood were valium, lorazpam, diazepam and midazolam. These drugs were administered by Dr. Murray, in low doses over a period of six hours.

Dr. Murray administered the various different drugs, trying to help Jackson fall to sleep. Dr. Murray finally administered propofol, also known as diprivan. Diprivan is used in the operating room, in the hospital, to put patients under. The drugs were administered intravenously. Jackson suffered respiratory arrest which led to cardiac arrest. Michael Jackson died from a lethal drug cocktail.

For reasons unknown 911 was called 40 minutes after Jackson stopped breathing. Jackson suffered from a sleeping disorder and Dr. Murray, reportedly, was trying to help Michael Jackson get sleep. Dr. Murray was hired for $150,000 a month to be Jackson's private physician, he treated Jackson on the morning that Jackson died. Although the coroner ruled Jackson's death a homicide; no arrests have been made.
